WELCOME TO LANIGP

 

I am honored to be the President of the Louisiana Chapter of National Institute of Governmental Purchasing (LaNIGP), which provides educational opportunities to procurement professionals from across the great state of Louisiana. 

 

As governmental employees we are also public servants. We dedicate our careers to ensuring the protection of public funds by following our principles and practices of accountability, ethics, impartiality, professionalism, service, and transparency.

 

Procurement is ever-changing. Each year brings changes and new challenges to find more efficient ways of obtaining essential products and services. As procurement professionals we aim to provide quality products and services to Louisiana citizens. The goal of our organization and Annual Conference is to provide training and peer support to procurement professionals. We strive to increase members' knowledge of Public Procurement in Louisiana and help them reach their career goals while supporting their Agency's mission. Welcome to LaNIGP!
